One of the neat things about this job is getting to know people. I’ve always like the “high school scene” so I’ve had plenty of interaction with teenagers. Some of them teach me the slang and crazy expressions they come up with. One young man, Drake Decker, is someone I remember maybe all the way back to middle school. I remember him being an outgoing, funny guy who seemed to like attention. I’ve reconnected with him recently and hired him to do some yard work at my house. He started the business, [Decker Landscape & Design], and became a small businessman. He still has that sense of humor but he’s also an energetic, eager young man who I thank has “found himself” and will do great things.
